Product Description

Tadalis is a phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitor that is used as a muscle relaxant. Ajanta pharma which is in India manufactures this pill with its active ingredient as Tadalafil. The medication was approved by FDA on November 2003.

The pill is sold under the name Cialis when it is prescribed for treating erectile dysfunction and as the trade name Adcirca when Tadalis used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Tadalis work by increasing the blood flow to the penis thus making it easy to attain and maintain hard erection. Cialis is another trade name of Tadalafil which is the only erectile dysfunction medication that is offered as a once daily medication.

Medical Uses

Tadalis is available for oral administration in the treatment of ED. They help many men to regain their confidence. The medication is used to relax the muscles surrounding the genital part of men to increase the blood flow in that area.

Tadalis is also used to treat pulmonary hypertension by lowering your blood pressure. The active ingredient in the medication relaxes the walls of blood vessels and hence blood flow is improved.

Dosage and administration

Tadalis comes in oral tablets of 20mg and 10mg. There are two different ways in which this pill can be taken. The first way is that it can be used as needed. Mostly 10mg of this pill is prescribed to be taken as needed just 30 minutes before the sexual intercourse. The effect of this pill lasts for as long as 36 hours.

The dosage of tadalis can be increased or decreased based on the efficacy of the pill. Second of all it can be taken once a day. The recommended dosage for taking it once a day is 2.5mg and it has no interference with timing of sexual activity.

Do not take more than one tadalis tablet in a day and take the pill at the same time every day to keep track of the effectiveness or side effects of the pill.

To get erection there must be sexual stimulation from the partner, only then tadalis can help to maintain the erection. Patients having diabetes should only consume the lowest dose of the medication.

These side effects occur only in the beginning and go away after a few hours or days. Uncommon side effects like ringing in the ears and priapism, where the erection remains for prolonged duration of time more than 4 hours should be taken into medical attention immediately when you take tadalis.

Drug contraindications

It is advised to consult a doctor before a person takes any other medical treatment while taking tadalis. In general antibiotics like erythromycin and anti-fungal like ketoconazole and alpha blockers that aid in treating high blood pressure are found to interact with this drug.
